Company History
Istop kiosks have been developed to help communications between organisations and the many millions of people without Internet access.
Designed and developed by Times Top 250 company (2007) Colorama Pharmaceuticals, the idea came when the company was looking at how to help smaller retailers to increase shopper traffic.
Having developed and launched the concept, istop was approached to help local authorities provide information about health and other community services and by Jobcentre plus to make information about jobs available more accessible.
Istop is a service provider not a kiosk manufacturer ... Our approach is to develop long-term partnerships with public and private organisations and retailers, providing a complete end-to-end service. This includes information and IT management, installation, maintenance, merchandising and co-promotion.
“The istop team is obviously working hard to ensure that the proven benefits of community-based self-service information kiosks are not forgotten during the process of Government service transformation. We are keen to talk to anyone working on regional or national projects – public sector or commercial - who believes that istop can help them achieve their goals.” Jon Savitt, istop Managing Director
