What is istop?
istop is a free-to-use touchscreen information and shopping kiosk.
Users simply touch the menu buttons on the screen to navigate their way through various information and shopping options available. Each kiosk also provides comprehensive local job vacancies, thanks to our partnership with Jobcentre Plus.
Although istop kiosks are similar to the internet, the information they provide is different. istop aims to guide users towards local, regional and national organisations that can help them, with printable phone numbers and contact details available.
Istop also offers a range of educational toys, personal care, entertainment and disability products to buy.
Kiosks are currently sited in shops and Post Offices but have the scope to be used in children’s centres, community centres and other public buildings.
The newest istop kiosk is designed to comply with disability access standards and has two screens.
One is ideal for information, the other for advertising.
